THEATER In 1997, she was selected as a Permanent Member of the experimental branch of the Lincoln Center, The Lincoln Center Director's Lab. There, Anne Deneys-Tunney has worked extensivaly as a Theater Director, with some of the most influential theater Directors in the USA and abroad such as Liviu Cuilei, Michael Khon, Serban, Julie Taymor. Every year she teaches a class at NYU Acting French, where she initiates students to experimental theater through a series of original exercises she has conceived for this class. In 2005, she creates, the experimental Compagny Eye Ball Planet. Its first production was Narcisse , by JJ Rousseau. It was performed at the Jonhson Theater at the Theater for the New City in New York City in April 2005. The American Premiere of Rousseau's play was done as a multi media extravaganza, with original rock music and video, with a combination of professional musicians, designer, actors and dancers and students from NYU.
